Sitting within 9 acres of glorious countryside, this stone-built cottage has a wealth of character features including original beams and doors, and the accommodation is cosy and comfortable.

On entering the cottage via the glazed front door you will find the charming sitting room with its feature brick wall and open-fire. Also on the ground floor you will find the well-equipped dining kitchen which has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge with icebox, and a table and chairs, and plenty of cupboard and counter-top space. Stairs lead you up to the first floor where you will find the bedroom with king-size bed, and skylights to gaze upon the stars on clear nights. The bedroom has limited head room, but is a cosy and romantic space, and there is an en-suite cloakroom with WC and hand basin. The quaint bathroom can be found on the ground floor, and has a large and deep bath with hand-held shower attachment, a WC and hand basin.

At the front of the cottage you will find a table and chairs, and an invitation to relax with your morning coffee watching the horses grazing in the paddocks opposite. Just a few steps down the drive, you will find a private garden with a fire pit, sun loungers and seating, offering lovely views across the fields.

Perfectly positioned on the edge of the popular village of Langton Herring, Groom's Cottage is the ideal base for those who wish to explore nearly Chesil Beach and The Fleet, or venture further along the famous Jurassic Coast. Nearby Weymouth is just a ten minute drive away, and the county town of Dorchester is just a short journey away.
