Candys is a perfect couples retreat, ideally situated just a countryside walk away from the popular and picturesque village of Evershot, and surrounded by beautiful, undulating Dorset countryside.

Located in the hamlet of Holywell, just over a mile away from the pretty village of Evershot, Candys has been furnished and well-equipped to offer a comfortable retreat for two. Sitting close to the A37 midway between Yeovil and Dorchester, the property is ideally situated for exploring the counties of Dorset and Somerset. A tributary of the River Frome passes through the hamlet, and there are opportunities for walking right from the front door.

Neighbouring Holywell House has beautifully landscaped gardens which guests are welcome to relax in and enjoy, and the nearby village of Evershot has a village bakery, stores and the award-winning Acorn Inn. If you are lucky, you may spot one of the few trains that briefly pass by on the Dorchester West to Yeovil Pen Mill rural branch line, or the puff of smoke from a very rare sighting of a steam locomotive.

The accommodation includes a bright, open-plan sitting room with television, dining area and well-equipped kitchen. There is a spacious double bedroom, a large shower room and a separate utility room with washing machine. In addition to being able to share the owners' pretty gardens, Candys has a private outdoor terrace with a table, chairs and parasol, the perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee.
