With all first floor accommodation, The Hayloft has an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area fully equipped with double oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and pod coffee maker. The bedroom area has a super-king size, handmade Vispring bed with Egyptian cotton linen and down duvet (synthetic duvet available on request). From the bedroom there is a characterful shower room and walk-in wardrobe. The village pub is just a minute away from the cottage, and a five-minute drive away or two-mile walk sees you at Hardy's Monument with stunning views across beautiful Dorset countryside and out to Weymouth Bay. Nearby Iron Age Maiden Castle Hillfort offers excellent walking opportunities, and the towns of Dorchester and Weymouth are a short drive away with plenty of shops, museums, restaurants and cinemas to visit.

There is a stream in the garden which makes the property unsuitable for children between the ages of 2 and 10. Infants under two can be accommodated provided you bring your own travel cot and linen.
