The Cowshed is a ground floor suite with french doors on to the garden. It has a kitchen/dining/sitting area fully equipped with double oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and pod coffee maker. The living area has a fireplace with wood burning stove and two over-size leather snuggler chairs. The bedroom area has a super-king size, handmade Vispring bed with Egyptian cotton linen and down duvet. The bed can be separated in to two twins upon request. From the bedroom there is a generous bathroom with a bath, basin and WC and a large open walk-in shower. The village pub is just a minute away from the cottage, and a five minute drive away or two mile walk sees you at Hardy's Monument with stunning views across beautiful Dorset countryside and out to Weymouth Bay. Nearby Iron Age Maiden Castle Hillfort offers excellent walking opportunities, and the towns of Dorchester and Weymouth are a short drive away with plenty of shops, museums, restaurants and cinemas to visit.

There is a stream in the garden which makes the property unsuitable for children between the ages of 2 and 10. Infants under two can be accommodated provided you bring your own travel cot and linen.
