Church Cottage is a new build thatch cottage holiday home adjacent to the church, assembled to a high standard to ensure clients can enjoy both modern convenience and character all in one. The interior is tastefully decorated with eclectic art from around the world, a relaxing sofa and tasteful throws add to your comfort. Mood lighting, a gas logburner and a huge 48” inch hidden flat screen TV in the lounge will make for cosy nights in during cooler months. French doors open onto a private and well screened terrace and cottage garden, bringing the outside in on those warm summers’ days. There’s also a beautiful further terrace at the rear of the garden with table and chairs for outside dining, with views over the churchyard and village.

Upstairs are two very comfortable ensuite bedrooms both with plenty of space and luxury facilities and of course a TV in each room! Comfort and style is guaranteed throughout.

Cattistock is a small pretty village nestling in the heart of typically rolling Dorset countryside with a well-stocked village shop and post office just 50m from the house. There’s also a good pub serving excellent food for days you don’t wish to cook or for a quick well deserved pint after a long walk in the Dorset hills. It’s just a 30 minute drive to the spectacular cliffs and coast at West Bay made famous by the TV series ‘Broadchurch’ whilst Charmouth, famous for its fossils is only a 40 minute drive. The county town of Dorchester is 10 miles away and is well known as a thriving town with antique shops, coffee bars and regular farmers markets.

Church Cottage is an ideal retreat for couples or families with 2 children.
