Poppa's Cottage is a small traditional thatched cottage situated in the heart of the idyllic village of Burton Bradstock with its picture postcard stone cottages and narrow twisting lanes. This 19th century property is an ideal location for couples who enjoy walking, bird watching and other outdoor activities in Dorset's beautiful countryside and coast. There is a local village store, post office and two traditional pubs which are reputed to serve good home style food as well as locally caught fish. Nearby Burton beach is an easy walk from the cottage and has wonderful cliff views and the Hive Beach Cafe which comes recommended by previous visitors. An outing to West Bay, which is approximately three miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample locally caught crabs and lobsters. Nearby Bridport holds a regular antiques market at the weekend and has a variety of shops, so is perfect for an afternoon's browsing. A stay at Poppa's Cottage combines a rustic style cottage base in a lovely village location with the convenience of a beach which is within strolling distance and a local market town which is a short car or bus journey away.

Accommodation: Compact lounge. Small kitchen. Steep cottage style stairs from lounge to 1st Floor. Bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom, double bed.
