This is nothing to do with the owner, she is really nice. It is to do with sykes getting it wrong and not admitting they got it wrong. They are a big company that doesn't care about their customer. Sales matter to them. Terrible customer service too. I will come back to this cottage but not through sykes.

Julie is such a brilliant host and nothing is too much and full of information as a true local. The welcome back really does cover everything you need when you first arrive. Cannot say enough about the location right in the heart of Whalley with all the restaurants on your doorstep. Highly recommend Amico Italian, King Street Kitchen and Deux Amis for breakfast super! Cannot wait to return it’s really relaxing and some super walks on your doorstep. Be back soon the DJs x

Julie was welcoming and made us feel at ease throughout our stay. Julie offered us lots of recommendations and was there whenever we needed anything :) There was an most amazing welcome package for us when we arrived and some treats for my little boy, Julie really did go above and beyond for us. The house was so clean and beautifully designed, it was the most magical way to spend our Christmas together as a family. In terms of location, the lodge is perfect, so close to the centre of Whalley, which has such a great range of restaurants and pubs. We went on a few lovely walks that are really close. I would have no hesitation booking this place again, would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying.
