Unfortunately we would not return to the coach house the house itself inside looked very tired most of the door handles was loose the kitchen layout is not the best with the fridge freezer and the dishwasher being the other side of the house to the kitchen which dosnt sound like a major issue but trust me it’s very annoying especially when you are cooking. We arrived 7 mins early to our check in time after a 6 half hour drive to be met by the owner who we found very abrupt and said you was supposed to come after 3pm we arrived at 2.53 and the owner said if there is anything wrong now then tough even though we said we was happy to wait in the car till 3pm if needed. This is not the welcome we expected after such a long drive with a 6 year old and a dog. There was no welcome pack on arrival .!The swimming pool is great but it is also in the owners garden so everytime you wanna use it you have to go into the owners garden which we found a bit awkward and couldn’t fully relax and enjoy it as quite often the owners and their dogs was often in the garden.Although we know Pets are not aloud to be left unattended we asked during the very extreme 34 degree heatwave if we could leave our 12 year old dog for a few hours to take our son out exploring but sadly we was met with a no from the owner so we had to pay over £100 to a doggy day care as we did not want to risk taking our dog out in the extreme heat so if you are taking your dog please be aware you will not be aloud to leave your dog in the property at all.Overall we had a great time exploring Dorset but we Would not return to the coach house again sadly.
