The beautiful coastal village of Worth Matravers with its old stone cottages, duckpond, tea rooms and the 18th century Square and Compass pub is the jewel in Purbeck s crown. From the village, short walks down country paths lead to spectacular spots on the south coast. The closest town is Swanage (3.5 miles). With a sandy beach, Victorian pier, beach huts, quirky cafés, fish & chip shops and a thriving arts scene, it offers a unique blend of 1950s seaside charm and 21st century modernity. Nearby you can visit Studland s vast sandy beaches, the medieval ruin at Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Brownsea Island. A couple of steps lead up into the hall where you can leave coats and boots. You will find a large, light filled open plan kitchen/dining room, which is the heart of the house and a perfect space for enjoying a family meal. The garden is mostly lawn with a terrace split over two levels and is edged with flower beds and shrubs.
