This charming cottage stands in the lovely hamlet of Acton, almost surrounded by National Trust land, amid the beautiful Purbeck Hills. It s a nature lover s dream with a rich range of birds, butterflies and wildflowers. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with paths and bridleways directly from the door. You can enjoy a stroll to the sea at Dancing Ledge, or visit the delightful villages of Langton Matravers and Worth Matravers. The Priests Way provides a fairly direct path for walkers and cyclists to Swanage. The lovely sandy beach of Swanage is ideal for swimming, paddling, boating, diving and fishing. The Swanage steam railway links the town with the historic and picturesque village of Corfe Castle. Stepping outside, you will find a charming walled and paved courtyard which has a gated entrance. This is an attractive place to relax in and garden furniture is provided so you can enjoy dining outside. On arrival, you can stop on the unmade track beside the cottage to unpack your car, and a parking space is available in the quiet lane within a short walk. Low slung vehicles need to take extra care on this path. A regular bus service is within a 5 minute walk offering direct access to Swanage, Corfe Castle, Wareham and Poole, making this an ideal cottage for visitors wishing to leave their car at home.
