Our well-maintained caravan is situated at Swanage Bay View - a beautiful, quiet resort on the hillside overlooking Swanage. There is a heated, indoor pool on site, as well as a bar serving snacks, a Costa Coffee, seasonal entertainment, a gym and a launderette.

The quaint, seaside town of Swanage is within walking distance (15 mins) via picturesque lanes following the Priest’s Way or you can drive and park in one of the car parks near the beach or station. There is also a peaceful nature reserve neighbouring the site and the Southwest Coastal path is a walk away too.

Our caravan offers guests a comfortable, cosey stay and has all modern amenities. There is a large main bedroom with a king size bed and a small twin-bedded room (these beds can be clipped together to form a double bed on request). The main living area has stunning views of the town and bay, and sometimes you can spot the steam trains! In the lounge, there is a large corner sofa (part of which has a double sofa bed) as well as a HD TV with Freeview and a DVD player. The kitchen/dining area is well equipped and perfect for easy dining and family holidays.

Pillows and duvets are provided - but please bring your own bed linen and towels. Some basic kitchen supplies are also provided for your convenience: tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, washing up liquid, cleaning products, bin bags, tea towels etc.

To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, there are a number of books, DVDs, board games and beach toys that you are welcome to use during your stay.

The large decking area out the front has table and chairs and offers fantastic views of Swanage and the Isle of Wight in the distance. It is the perfect place to relax with a drink and have a meal in the warmer months. There is a charcoal BBQ available for use also.

Minimum stay 3 nights, except during school summer holidays when there is a minimum 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday bookings only.

The small, family-friendly seaside resort of Swanage is situated at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, on the celebrated Isle of Purbeck and is probably best known for its wonderful, gently shelving golden sands. The little town offers visitors plenty of shops, good pubs and restaurants, some of which specialise in locally caught seafood, and is also well known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers, it’s a wonderful place to watch the world pass by. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a picturesque 6-mile journey, chugging through lovely countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle. Nearby Durlston Country Park offers a lovely day out with spectacular coastal walks, dolphin spotting and wildlife watching, together with comfortable viewing points and a well-stocked cafe for a treat after all the fresh air. Take the short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks. This truly is a delightful holiday destination at any time of the year.
