With a garden and a bar, Herston Caravan & Camping provides free WiFi in the bar and restaurant and is located in Swanage, 5. 6 mi from Corfe Castle. 

A Full English/Irish breakfast is available daily at the campground. 

A children's playground is available on site and both hiking and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of Herston Caravan & Camping.  Fire pits are also available on site and the first bag of logs and kindling is supplied for free. 

The nearest airport is Bournemouth Airport, 16 mi from the accommodations. 

Glamping tent for up to 4 people situated in a separate field over looking the hills of Swanage. Beds supplied in a combination of doubles or singles for up to 4 people. Firepit supplied along with a bag of logs and kindling with each booking of 2 nights or more. Please note that you will need to supply your own bedding.

At Herston we are a family orientated site, safe for Children and our friendly staff will help you with whatever you need. There is so much to discover and experience around picturesque Purbeck; gateway to the Jurassic Coast, England’s first World Heritage Site. Take a trip on a the Swanage steam train to historical Corfe Castle only a 5 minute walk to Herston Halt station, enjoy walks along the spectacular coastline and National Trust countryside and why not try out some bird watching, fishing, watersports or even sandcastle building…… all within three miles of our Camping & Caravanning site.

Further afield are Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Weymouth - home to the 2012 Olympic Sailing Academy, Poole Harbour and the bright lights of Bournemouth.

You can abandon the car for the entire holiday if you wish since the park is a mere mile and a half from the bustling Seaside town centre of Swanage where many interesting events are held including the Folk Festival and the Jazz Festival. It is even less than that to the sandy blue flag family beaches.
