Situated within North Dorset is the market town of Blandford Forum, known for its Georgian architecture, most of the town was rebuilt in the 18th century after it was destroyed by a fire in 1731. Within the town, you will find a plethora of amenities, including independent stores, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, cafés and a Georgian tearooms, as well as the annual Blandford Georgian Fayre, which celebrates its Georgian heritage, with presentations, historical re-enactments and music and dancing.
