Snaptrip says

Tamar Barn is a charming and rustic holiday cottage in Devon, appreciated for its excellent location, comfortable furnishings, and additional features like a hot tub and wood burner. Guests have enjoyed the property's dog-friendly garden and found it to be a good base for exploring the surrounding areas. While some guests have noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. Some guests found the barn exceptionally clean, while others reported issues with mould, dirty floors, and cobwebs. The kitchen and towels were noted as clean, but there's room for improvement in thoroughness.

The location is generally praised for its convenience for exploring Devon and Cornwall, with good access to local walks and attractions. However, some guests have mentioned the proximity to a busy road and the steep driveway as drawbacks.

Most guests found the barn comfortable, with a cosy wood burner, comfy sofas, and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds were also noted to be comfortable, contributing to a relaxing stay.

Facilities like the hot tub and enclosed garden were highlights, but some guests mentioned issues with heating, the need for more logs for the burner, and a desire for better maintenance of the showers and garden. The feedback suggests that while the facilities are appreciated, there is a need for attention to detail and upkeep.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.
