In addition to a recreational pool, Tavistock boasts an indoor pannier market, a wide variety of independent stores, a great selection of bars, bistros, and restaurants, a theatre, and a movie theatre. For those who prefer the ease of having a fascinating town right outside their door, this is the ideal vacation spot in the country. Dartmoor offers fantastic hiking opportunities, National Cycle Network route 27 offers cycling, renowned game fishing, beautiful gardens, and several National Trust sites are close by. The port city of Plymouth, with its Historic Royal William Yard, Barbican Quay, and intriguing museum The Box, which features history, art and houses an archive for Plymouth and the South West, is conveniently located nearby. Note: As from the 2nd August 2024, this property will allow two well behaved dogs at an additional cost of £25 per dog.
As the property is on a working farm, all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and dog poo picked up please.
There is a small enclosed garden for exercising your dog, otherwise there are many beautiful walks on Dartmoor.
