The village of Moortown is near Tavistock and Dartmoor National Park. Pew Tor and Windy Post Granite Cross offer stunning views of the countryside. A short drive will take you to The Whitchurch Inn for a hearty meal, or to Tavistock for a variety of restaurants. The town has the largest outdoor market in the UK and a Grade I listed church. Plymouth is a port city with lots to see and do. The National Marine Aquarium and Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park are must-sees for nature lovers. Jennycliff Beach is the place to relax and take in the views.
