In fact, within a thirty minute drive of the property, attractions include The Dartmoor Pony Heritage Centre, Buckfast Abbey, The South Devon Steam Railway, and a butterfly and otter sanctuary. The nearest town to the property is Okehampton, situated just two miles away, and offers a range of shops, choice of supermarkets, a choice of eateries, and a leisure centre. This property is set back in its own space. The main living area is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has large patio doors opening out onto the property s raised deck. The lounge area is set out so that guests are able to enjoy the views across the neighbouring fields, and also sit back, relax, and watch the TV/DVD, or cosy up in front of the electric fire. The dining table comfortably seats six, adjacent to which is the kitchen area, with its oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. To the rear of the property, there are three bedrooms, the first of these is a spacious double room with a TV, dressing area, and en suite shower room with WC. The second and third bedrooms are both twin rooms. The main bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Outside, the property s decked veranda not only has patio furniture, allowing guest to enjoy al fresco meals, but also a wonderful sunken hot tub where guests can soak away and make the most of the peaceful surroundings. There is a pub located next door, where there is a children s play area Please check covid restrictions with the Inn proprietors prior to using and of course, the pub, with its bar and restaurant. There is ample off road parking, as well as space for additional guests to camp at an additional charge.
