The city of Exeter, is a 30 minute drive away, with its picturesque cathedral and it is a must see when coming to this part of the world, with its cobbled streets and array of shops and restaurants. Other attractions within easy reach are RHS Rosemoor for aspiring gardeners, the well known Tarka Trail and Granite Way, great for those wishing to take long walks or cycle rides, numerous National Trust properties, Crealy Devon, as well as the well known fishing lakes at 'Spires' which are under a mile.
