Further afield, Exeter is a charming and historic city worth visiting, with its imposing cathedral and lovely parks, it's a great place for exploring and shopping, with a variety of boutiques and high-street stores to browse. The fabulous Roadford Reservoir offers a variety of watersports and fishing. Also in Okehampton is the Museum of Dartmoor Life (where Tourist Information is) and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to 1950s glory, running trains along a scenic route to Meldon, southern England's highest station.
