About this property
Brimpts Cottage is a charming detached cottage nestled on Brimpts Farm near the village of Dartmeet within Dartmoor National Park. Surrounded by wide open spaces, beautiful countryside and moorland, this comfortable cottage would make the perfect base for a walking holiday with friends or family. The ground floor houses a spacious, yet cosy living room comprising of a sitting room and dining area. In here you will also find a warming woodburning fire, TV and comfortable sofas, making this the perfect spot to unwind of an evening. Following this is the sleek kitchen posing all the necessities you will need during your stay, plus a light and airy conservatory style dining room with bi-fold doors that take in the views of the magnificent moorland on your doorstep. Via some steep stairs, you will find three bedrooms, posing a welcoming interior with ample storage and space. Completing this floor is a well-appointed bathroom, with a bath, shower over bath, basin and WC. Outside to the rear, an enclosed gravelled garden looks out across fields and moorland and offers a picnic table and a hot tub, a perfect way to end your day after walking on the moor. Note: Property can be booked with Ref. 975868, together they can sleep up to 38 people.
Dartmeet can be found within the centre of Dartmoor, Devon. It is home to outstanding views, a restaurant and tearoom and Pixies Holt Outdoor Learning centre. Nearby are an abundance of family-friendly attractions including a trip on the South Devon Railway or a day out at Dartmoor Zoo. Additionally, Dartmoor hosts a wide range of walks including challenging treks and relaxing strolls through the woodlands.
