… a mile from Chagford, on a 70 acre traditional Dartmoor farm, is this perfect ‘retreat’, secluded and hidden in trees. Large hot tub sunk into the decking (table/chairs, gas barbecue) that wraps around on two sides. You’re welcome to enjoy the farm which abounds in wildlife (badgers, foxes, birds) and wildflowers (orchids) and has a ½ acre pond.
Inside, spacious and smart. Shallow steps up to front door; utility room (washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) and shower-room (suite). Stable doors into big, light open-plan living (TV/DVD, iPod dock, electric coal-effect fire, sofa bed)/dining/kitchen (dishwasher) with patio doors to deck. Glazed doors through to double bedroom (5’ bed) with en suite bathroom (suite) and door to deck. Spring water. No children under 10, except pre-crawling babies. A romantic escape: private, stylish and comfy.
