If you want a quiet, tranquil place to stay this is for you. Local amenities are a short walk away or you can drive to more holiday destinations. If you do not drive there is a bus stop nearby. Nick and Claire are friendly with a kind nature. They left you to yourself, but very approachable when/if you needed anything and always spoken to us when we crossed paths. Will 100% go again. Thankyou for a fabulous holiday.

I’ve just spent a week at Magpie’s Rest as a solo traveller. The accommodation was perfect for me, plenty of space, comfy bed and sofa. Shower was good. And a breakfast bar to eat at. The ability to walk out the back gate to get access to woodland, moorland and Drakes trail was lovely.Communication from hosts was clear and when I had a small issue it was attended to very quickly, hosts were also very friendly when I bumped into them occasionally.I would happily stay again.

The accommodation was very clean and well planned out. Everything needed was on hand, even walks accessed on the door step. A bus service to Tiverton or the other way to Plymouth which is very regular has Stops on each side the road outside the property.
