Just a 5.5 mile drive away is the historic stannary market town of Tavistock offering its own unique charm and attractions including Buckland Abbey and the enchanting Garden House. Slightly further afield is Plymouth (9.5 miles) which offers a range of shops, restaurants, bars and many historical sites like the Hoe, the National Marine Museum and the Theatre Royal. Further south (17 miles) explore the tranquil sandy beach of Bovisands, and unwind along the sheltered bay located in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This unique holiday home is one of two suites in the property. Located on the ground floor, enter this beautiful single level bolthole and kick off your shoes. To your right is a dining area and the room opens into a kitchen/lounge area. With a cosy sofa and wingback armchair for unwinding, a TV and DVD player and a well equipped kitchen, you can relax with ease after a long day exploring. Across the hall is the beautiful super king size bedroom with an en suite shower room with a divine rainfall shower, with stunning beams and exposed walls throughout the property. Outside, there is access to a secluded garden (sorry no dogs), with a tranquil area to listen to the birds sing.
