Lovely cottage very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Generous welcome basket for us and our dog!! Owners very welcoming and friendly.Peaceful, rural location. A car is a must as it is quite remote, with the closest village shop and pub at Ashwater, a 3 mile round trip. Lots of information at the cottage, including maps, walking guides and information on places to visit. There was even a selection of novels to read, if desired.I would certainly recommend Meadowside Forge to friends & family. Despite the weather, we had a lovely time there.
