The family bathroom completes this wonderful cottage, with a bath, separate shower and WC.

Stepping outside, you will be greeted with an incredibly spacious garden with far-reaching views over the Devon countryside. There is plenty to do whilst making the most of these views including relaxing in your own private hot tub, to soak up and enjoy a Devon sunset or gaze at the stars on a clear night, whilst children can enjoy burning some energy in the shared games space, or creating games in the 3.5-acre shared Willow Walk. My family, the dog and I have just returned from a week long easter break at Fern Gully. What a wonderful place it is. The position of it is what first strikes you - on arrival we were met with the quintessential rolling countryside views to the rear. Inside the cottage is extremely spacious and very clean and well equipped. It’s like every little thing has been thought of from the welcome cream teas to the well stocked games room. Personal highlights for me were the log fire, the hot tub, the children’s book collection for bedtime stories and the overall attention to detail. I liked how the garden was fully enclosed so we could let the dog out and not have to worry. The all important internet for the kid’s games and Netflix was up to task. The owners popped by on the first morning to make sure everything was ok and they were really friendly. Overall the whole experience was super chilled and really like a ‘home from home’. I’d be happy to go back and would recommend to anyone looking to take a family break.
