Ideally situated in a central location and close to the Devon and Cornwall border you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out. Head towards the coast and visit the rocky shoreline at Bucks Mills or the sandy beaches at Bude, ever popular with surfers. Walkers and outdoors enthusiasts will also be in their element with Roadford Lake, offering fishing, walking and sailing activities, just a short drive away, the wild beauty of Dartmoor National Park just also nearby, and only slightly further Bodmin moor is well worth a visit. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Launceston Steam Railway, the historic maritime city of Plymouth, Tintagel Castle, and numerous National Trust properties, and the busy market towns of Launceston and Okehampton. Step inside this truly unique property and you will firstly find yourself in the surprisingly spacious living area where ample seating is arranged across the leather sofas plus also the oversize captain seats which are still in situ. The addition of a TV/DVD and also a stereo with iPod dock provide entertainment in a retro setting, and the perfect use of space enables the inclusion of a cosy diner, a lovely venue for a laid back meal at the end of the day. Also brilliantly designed and equipped is the kitchen area and here you will find a brilliant selection of appliances including an electric combination microwave oven and hob and a fridge/freezer. Venture further inside and you will then discover the bedroom compartment complete with fabulous original retro fixtures and fittings and a double bed. Completing the offering inside the Airstream is a compact yet perfectly appointed sink and vanity area. Head back outside where you are perfectly placed in a private and secluded enclosed field adjacent to the owners home. Garden furniture, a BBQ and a fire pit are provided and mean that you can dine alfresco with ease during warm weather. or why not spend your evenings on the raised decking soaking up the glorious far reaching views while the sunsets? There is also an undeniably useful external shower room with shower and WC only a few steps away from the van, which has been purpose built and designed to bolster the facilities inside the Airstream. Private off road parking for two cars is provided directly outside. Please note this property is not on mains water, it has a private water supply.
