And what a beach it is two miles of sand await, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and beach games. There is even a surf academy on the beach, so visitors can experience the thrill of catching their first wave. For a change of scene, head down the beach to Northam Burrows Country Park, a lovely natural seascape with sand dunes and salt marshes to explore. Other places of interest nearby include the harbour town of Bideford and the fishing village of Appledore. The open plan living area of this ground floor apartment is dominated by the sea views from the floor to ceiling windows. The patio door opens onto the terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the sea air from the lounge area, where there is comfortable seating and a TV/DVD.
