Both us and the dogs loved it. I would recommend a visit. Already shared the details with friends.

Kingfisher is fully equipped for a short or long stay. 10 mins walk to the lovely village with a pub, post office and shops. 20 minutes from Bideford and shopping park Atlantic village. Perfect base for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Hosts could not do enough to help us. With a small enclosed garden and a lake and meadow beyond it was great for our dog too. We stay for 6 weeks visiting family and we’ve booked again for January.

It is a well equipped cosy little holiday home, both Jo and Zak were friendly and helpful. They even supplied a welcome cake on our arrival which was a lovely surprise. The cottage was clean and well maintained. There is a low ceiling in the bathroom but we managed not to bump our heads and it really wasn't a problem. There was a plentiful supply of pamphlets and information about the location and beyond. The grounds are lovely and the walk around the huge pond was secluded and tranquil. Out little dog loved it. I would happily recommend it if you want a quiet country location to stay, the village is just a short walk and the pub food is good. We will happily book again.
