After parking up in the spacious driveway, step into a welcoming hallway where you can leave your boots and coats before finding the sitting room. Accommodating large sofas, here you can snuggle up and enjoy a cosy movie night from the Smart TV, or simply have a good catch up and discuss tomorrow’s plans. The spacious kitchen/diner is a lovely place to prepare your meals, boasting a light and airy feel thanks to the abundance of natural lighting, while a contemporary selection of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, are sure to inspire some home-cooking. The large dining room hosts a dining table in front of patio doors leading to the patio and hot tub. Off the kitchen lies a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, handy for when your adventures take off on a muddier trail. Sleep well at Devon House with five beautiful bed rooms. The master includes a sumptuous king size bed with en-suite shower, A second Room has a King Size bed with en-suite shower. The remaining three rooms have zip link beds making one double (Superking) and two twin rooms that can be changed on request. Serving the bedrooms is the large family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower. There is an additional WC on the ground floor. Continuing to impress, to the exterior of this property lies an enclosed patio garden, complete with outdoor furniture and Hot tub. The local village of Bradworthy has plenty of interesting small grocery shops and a lovely pub set around the traditional village square. If you fancy a day lounging on the sands, the magnificent beaches of Bude, Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth Bay are within 11 miles and with Bideford and Westward Ho is slightly further. Tamar Lakes is just a short drive, offering a range of water sports and has a cafe and adventure area for children. Take in the dramatic scenery along the South West Coast Path, offering stunning cliff top walks around pretty fishing villages. Devon House offers a peaceful holiday base, whatever time of year.     Even had cream tea left and a good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolates. Local pub food really good and local butcher great too. Communication from host great, can’t recommend highly enough

    The games room was great and a lovely touch, and the hot tub was very relaxing. Vicki the owner was lovely and very accommodating. The local pub and shop 3 mins walk were both very handy during our stay. We all had a great time away.
