Toilet constantly leaked - the owner said that the maintenance man would come and look to repair it but he never showed. His solution to said constant leaking toilet was to give us a bunch of kitchen roll and tell us to clean it up ourselves. We were also told to keep the bathroom window constantly open - it was already freezing in the house and this just made it worse. The pots and pans in the cupboards were dirty and needed washing before using. All the cupboards themselves were very dusty and had to be wiped out. There were cobwebs in the mugs and a few other kitchen items had them, the water jug being one of them. The owner also doesn’t declare his tax - we asked to arrive a night early and he said okay so long as we payed cash - hopefully Mr tax man sees this. To top it all off, after we sat freezing all week because you aren’t allowed to turn the radiators up, we get an invoice for a broken thermostat for £299 without even contacting us prior to this. We didn’t touch the thermostats as you’d put stickers all over the place asking us not too. And as for £299 - the old heap of junk radiator wouldn’t even cost that to replace. We do not recommend. The owner is a corrupt conman trying to line his own pockets. Maybe they should think of spending that money on updating the place.
