The property is accessible to Teignmouth and the Cathedral city of Exeter is approximately 30 minutes by car or train. The quaint riverside setting of Dawlish known for black swans is a 15 minute walk away and has local shopping facilities. After taking in some of Devon’s beaches, villages or the seclusion of Dartmoor - finish off with a glass of wine in the garden or enjoy a meal either out at a local restaurant or at Driftwood. Relax in the contemporary four poster or have a bath in the beautiful tub to end your day. Listen for the Owl at night and wake up to the early morning chorus of birds on site. Energise yourself with the sea air and beautiful Devon scenery. There are many places to visit within a 45 minutes drive such as Brixham, Dartmouth, Torbay and Exmouth. Sample a lunch at a gastro pub and take in a cream tea by the river. Rejuvenate and make a memory of the red cliffs and endless coastline.

A charming seaside town set on the southern coast. The town of Dawlish offers all of the facilities for day-to-day living including a pleasant variety of shops, restaurants and cafés and a small theatre. Dawlish is famous for its Black Swans that live with other wildfowl on the Dawlish Water that runs through the central town park down to the sea, at night in the summer it is beautifully lit by strings of coloured lights. Dawlish comes with a wonderful, sandy beach with a crazy golf course also nearby, it is the perfect place for a family holiday. Up the coast is Dawlish Warren that can be reached by car or train or, for those energetic types, a walk along the sea wall. Further afield, Dawlish mainline station offers access to Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Paignton or even Plymouth, trains are plentiful.
