Excellent touring base. This cosy and comfortable holiday property is set in a quiet courtyard located just off the main street of the little town of Buckfastleigh. The Butterfly Farm, Otter sanctuary and the South Devon Railway with steam trains to Totnes are a short walk away. The well-known medieval monastery of Buckfast Abbey with its various craft shops is also within easy walking distance. Kay’s Cottage provides an excellent base for touring Dartmoor and the South Devon coast. With quick access to Plymouth and Exeter, it also allows plenty of time for day trips to Cornwall and other Devon attractions, north and east. Shop 30 yards, pub 300 yards.

Lovely clean cottage, surprisingly spacious inside and a sunny courtyard at the back. The furnishings are lovely and the bed really comfortable. The only negative from my point of you is that, as a lone traveller with no car, I needed to get to Totnes in order to travel on to other destinations, but I guess that’s my problem.

My family stayed in Kay's Cottage just last week and we loved it.We had everything we needed and were all very comfortable. When we arrived it was lovely and clean, very well presented and was easy to find.It's such good value for money and we would love to stay here again. P.S. the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up most days!
