… deep in leafy lanes, 2 miles from Slapton in a wooded valley, Cherry Cottage is one of a number of cottages around a courtyard which is sheltered on two sides by Virginia creeper and stone walls. One and a half acres of open ground shared with other residents, including lawn, orchard (picnic benches, barbecue), mature trees, well kept shrub-filled borders and large pond with ducks and geese (children are welcome to explore and enjoy, but toddlers must be supervised).
The cottage looks to the courtyard with small shrub-filled border and garden bench immediately in front. Hall with tiled floor; smart, roomy fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washer-drier, fridge-freezer, microwave) with TV; living room (TV/DVD/video); loo. Upstairs, four bedrooms – a roomy double (5’ bed, ample space for cot) with en suite shower-room (suite with power-shower), another double with laminate floor and en suite shower-room/washbasin (no door), a twin with washbasin, and a bunk room (3' beds). Bathroom (suite, power-shower over bath). Membership of Dartmouth Golf and Country Club provided with 25% discount on both golf courses and leisure facilities. A spacious cottage in a pretty area.

"A lovely big property in a courtyard with other properties. Very well equipped and comfortable rooms/bedrooms. We were a family party of 6 and had a really lovely holiday. Very challenging lanes but then this is Devon and you have to expect this and you soon learn how to reverse in tight situations. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property as it was well situated, once you found the right way (always turn right when exiting driveway its much easier) and Slapton is not far away. My only suggestion is that the sign for Buckland Court is made larger and nearer the lane not set back."
