The upper two floors of a substantial Victorian house which has been renovated, decorated and furnished to a high standard and has wonderful views of the main anchorage and East Portlemouth. Situated in the town centre and a few minutes walk from the waterfront the property fronts onto Buckley Street with entrance from Church Street and benefits from off street parking. Upper Sheldon House has been awarded VisitEngland 4 Star Gold status.

    Wonderful house in a great location. If there is a huge puddle in front of the house - which you cant get around - the drain is in the middle of the driveway and debris / leaves will need to be removed with a screwdriver. Once cleared the large water collection soon drains. Great house!

    This was our third stay at Upper Sheldon House. It ticks lots of boxes for us and we love the location and outlook.Unfortunately there had obviously been some sort of leak in the bathroom and the bath side had been taped up which wasn’t ideal with young children. It generally felt a bit tired and not as clean which I suppose is understandable towards the end of the season. The travel cot was really dirty along the top but that’s probably because someone had put it away like that, but it would be good if the cleaning team could check it in future.It’s desperate for some new pillows - they felt really lumpy and uncomfortable. Once the bathroom is fixed and everything’s freshened up, I’m sure it will be really nice again.

    This a lovely apartment, very comfortable with the most amazing views. Its location close to the centre of Salcombe was also great. The archway through to the parking space is very tight particularly if you have a larger car but having parking was a real bonus for us.
