A real gem of a cottage neatly tucked along the corner of Victoria Quay. You’ll find gorgeous interiors and a sunny terrace from where to take in those glorious harbour views.
The Old Lobster Pot is within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants, and you can practically fall into your boat from the front door!
The Old Lobster Pot was (as the name suggests) a store for lobster pots back in the day for local fisherman. The little store has undergone a transformation into what is now a beautiful seaside bolthole.
Situated along Victoria Quay, this coastal retreat is in the centre of town and on the flat for easy access to the shops and restaurants of Salcombe. Perfect for a couple with a woofer, or a small family looking to be near the waterfront for some crabbing.
Upon entering the cottage through the stable door, the outer hallway is a great place to hang and store your boating kit.
From the inner hallway there are two beautifully presented bedrooms and shower room. The gorgeous kingsize master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe with wonderful vintage doors. With the bedroom door and upper stable door open, you can enjoy views out to sea from your bed.
The second bedroom is a double with plenty of unique charm. There is a brilliant chill-out seating area which can also be made up into an occasional bed (a small single for children).
Upstairs is a bright and airy open plan kitchen, living and dining area, with steps out to the sunny terrace. The terrace overlooks the Salcombe harbour, where the tide ebbs in and out, and is the ultimate sun-trap (until around 6pm in the summer) and a great place to relax with a book or with a drink in hand.
One well behaved dog welcome at the discretion of the owner and an additional £45 per week.
One parking permit for long stay car park provided, but does not guarantee a space.

The Lobster Pot was a fantastic place to stay in Salcombe. It was close to everything and had a wonderful view. The outdoor terrace was excellent particularly as we had wonderful weather. We would definitely stay at The Lobster Pot again.

The owners have been so clever in maximising the space. The interiors are beautiful and it was a total joy staying here. We often left the stable door open when in the house and our very friendly goldendoodle enjoyed the attention from passers by. The location is fabulous, a short stroll to all that Island Street has to offer and 2 minutes to the heart of Salcombe. We will absolutely rebook.

The Lobster Pot is a perfect location for popping into Salcombe. With a terrace overlooking the estuary, you can almost go crabbing from the balcony! A perfect spot for time on the beach or just enjoying watching the boats going up and down
