Another wonderful stay at The Courtyard! As I was only two months post-knee replacement, the level walk into town was incredibly helpful, and having a dedicated parking space right at the property was a massive bonus. The private outside area is lovely, and the indoor space worked perfectly for our group of four adults. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already rebooked for 2027!

This is the second time we have stayed in The Courtyard and we love it. Great location and facilities. The apartment is lovely with everything you need. Our dog loves being able to go out into the garden which is enclosed and safe. There is a little noise from the nearby bar but it’s to be expected when you are so close to everything. It didn’t go on late and added to the buzz and convenience of being close to the centre of Salcombe. The off road parking is a definite asset.

We loved staying at the courtyard for the second time this year. The location is great, the huge terrace and parking space are a great bonus and the house has plenty of space, storage and is very comfortable. Our only tiny gripe is that it wasn’t quite as clean as we’d expect, there was stuff left behind in the bathroom mirror cupboards and when I lifted the lid on the salad bowl there was a mouldy onion in it which had clearly been there some time! These are minor issues but when paying a summer holiday premium they are a little disappointing. The recycling could also do with addressing as the Shadycombe bottle recycling referred to in the handbook hasn’t been there for a long time now. We took all of our glass/cardboard and tins home but I expect that a lot of people simply bin it. Surely there should be a responsibility to be environmentally conscious? Some champagne glasses would be great too but perhaps I’m being greedy! Overall an awesome week, a great place to stay and we’ve booked again for next year already!
