Bed was very comfortable with nice linen. However, the cottage was not clean, lots of cobwebs and dust, paint chipped off inside walls, frayed carpet in sitting room. On arrival it smelt very damp and musty. The fridge had been turned off, door closed and had a pool of water in it snd smelt. We had to wash the crockery snd glasses before use due to dust and cobwebs. The sitting room door curtains are far too long and were damp and musty at the bottom. Some of our clothes felt damp after a few days. The wet room shower drained very slowly. Dog mess in the garden had not been cleaned, the garden was overgrown and therefore limited access to the shed. Poor instructions regarding recycling. There are no facilities in the Boatyard, we asked 3 local people none of whom knew where we could recycle. Bins and boxes should be provided as other properties have them. The hoover didnât work properly snd was clogged up. Overall it felt tired and unloved. Could do with a good clean and TLC.
