Expansive windows frame the ever-changing estuary views, while doors open onto the terrace, allowing indoor and outdoor living to flow effortlessly together. The kitchen is sleek and well-equipped, with everything needed for anything from slow breakfasts to celebratory dinners, while the large dining table offers a wonderful setting for gathering together with views stretching across the water.
The adjoining lounge is warm and inviting, with deep, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. Whether you’re reading, watching a film or simply taking in the view, this space encourages you to slow down and settle into the rhythm of coastal life.

The setting is idyllic, the house is extremely well appointed, views to die for, gorgeous furniture inside and out, huge TV (my daughter particularly loved that!) and of course the hot tub. It felt like pure luxury everywhere but also had a lived in feel too which is hard to create. We felt truly relaxed and able to unwind after a tough six months.

We couldn’t have asked for a better setting than Moorings in Kingsbridge for our team retreat. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was something special – sleek, stylish, and effortlessly welcoming. The balcony became our go-to spot – morning coffees watching the river gently shift with the tide, and golden-hour chats with glasses in hand, wrapped in soft throws as the sun slipped behind the hills. Having a hot tub was a real treat – the perfect way to clear our heads after long lazy lunches at The Crabshell nearby. But the true highlight? The private chef. We were utterly spoiled with the most incredible supper – locally sourced, beautifully presented, and delicious beyond words.
