The surrounding area is full of beautiful, characterful villages many with welcoming village pubs, but it isn t all tranquil rural life, as the town of Salcombe is just five miles away and offers a fabulous harbour, five beaches, and a range of shops and eateries. Other attractions in the area include Woodlands Family Theme Park, Dartmoor Zoo, and the breath taking Burgh Island, former favourite haunt of Agatha Christie and Noel Coward.
