When arriving at the apartment, you'll be happy to discover that there is allocated parking available, where you can leave your vehicle before climbing the stairs or taking the lift to this stylish dwelling. Upon entering the apartment, discover a fabulous open-plan living space, where a sleek kitchen offers the budding chef of the group a great range of appliances, including a dishwasher and electric double ovens. Move through the space to find the dining table that comfortably seats up to eight people; settle down and tuck into a tasty meal whilst planning some seaside escapades together. Stretch out on the corner sofa in the sitting area and watch some TV, all the while being surrounded by windows showcasing those breathtaking views. As the day comes to an end, choose one of three tastefully furnished bedrooms, with one featuring a super-king-size enjoying a TV, en-suite shower room and an adjoining balcony with the open-plan living room. Further along the corridor, you will find another fabulous super-king-size, with this one being zip/linked to suit your arrangements, as well an en-suite shower room; the bunk room is close by and ideal for the kids. The family bathroom is the perfect spot to unwind in after a day filled with surfing and beachcombing, From the apartment there is level access to the shared heated swimming pool and gardens. The apartment enjoys a wonderful location, with a range of sights on its doorstep, such as South Milton Sands, Thurlestone Rock and the South Huish Wetlands Reserve, whilst also offering the highly rated Beachhouse café. Venture to Hope Cove to find more of your amenities resting in one handy setting, including The Cove pub, the fine dining restaurant of Lobster Pod Bistro, along with a well-stocked post office and the Hope and Anchor. Kayaking and paddle boarding can be enjoyed at all these beaches. Hope Cove is a quaint, picturesque village on the East coast of Devon. It's south of Port Isaac and north of Charmouth, famous for its fossil-picking at the Jurassic cliffs. The village has a National Trust-owned beach which has some of the best South Devon sand dunes. The beach is perfect for rambling along the shoreline and the National Trust owns enough land to allow horses to be ridden. Hope Cove's cafes are varied and delicious, with selections ranging from freshly made sandwiches to seafood dishes.

    Loved the amazing views of the stunning countryside and the beach being so near. Thank you for the beautiful bouquet of flowers and the bottle of wine, really appreciated! Everything in the apartment was good quality, clean and comfortable. Only negative for us was the very narrow lanes approaching the property which did stop us going out and touring around so much. Would be useful to have brochures on all appliances, and oven gloves. We could not find these. The swimming pool was warm and delightful and we really enjoyed using it daily in the good weather. There is no local shop nearby so you need to be very organised! .

    This is a second floor apartment. One of eleven apartments in the block. Family stay, four adults one child - 5th August 2023 for two weeks, The pictures look enticing. Sadly, the apartment is badly let down by the lack of basic cleaning and hygiene practices. Washing Machine - Mouldy Tumble Dryer - Fire Hazzard Bedding, mattress protectors heavily soiled and smelly. Pillows, heavily soiled and smelly. Had to go out and buy new pillows etc. So very dirty and grubby. Oven dirty / greasy. Cooker hood covered in dust on top of a build up of grease. Fridge and freezer dirty hair in freezer drawers. Dishwasher dirty Electrical PAT testing six months out of date. Extractor fans not working, this was noted by previous guests over twelve months ago. Food remnants under sofa. Finger nail clippings in window sill. Rodent droppings under sofa, Rodent droppings by bed. Vacuum in wardrobe on arrival full of detritus. Sofa very tired, worn, smelly and uncomfortable. Balcony chair broken. Evidence of dog hair in apartment even though booked as pet free. This was also noted previously in guest feedback. Dog food / biscuits / treats in utility shed. Pool area - two ground floor apartments let for guests with dogs, these apartments face the pool area. Unfortunately the guests let them roam freely in pool area as gated. Several occasions dogs becoming territorial and using area as toilet. Evident early morning dog activity.

    Fairly lengthy list of issues such as no extractor fans working, dirty washing machine, toaster & oven. One of the kitchen shelves fell down & the egg dish almost hit my husband in the head! The shoddy screw repair we found explained why. I think if the owner's address the list of repairs, the property would become more of the 4-star level we expected. If the pool had been working, more so. Unfortunately the resolution was not satisfactory and we would not recommend. Location was good - just don't be afraid of driving on very tight roads!
