About this property

This cottage converted from a stone barn is located around a courtyard of other cottages in Ringmore. With lovely views down the valley to the sea, it is a neat and cosy base for families or couples to enjoy seaside fun, walking or peace and quiet. Head on into the big kitchen with its dining table, then through to the sitting room with traditional beams with a Smart TV/DVD. Stairs take you up to the two lofty bedrooms, where you will find the sea view from the double (king size bed), sharing the family bathroom. Outside there is a small walled patio area. When you don't feel like cooking, you have a brilliant pub with tempting menu in the village, or treat yourselves to the excellent seafood restaurant a couple of miles away. Your days will be easily filled with hours on the beach at Ayrmer Cove, Challaborough or Bigbury-on-Sea, making sandcastles, surfing or maybe taking the sea tractor to Burgh Island. For walkers, this is a wonderful coast with the beautiful South West Coast Path, just a short walk from the property, and the pretty Erme estuary to explore. Bramble Cottage is a brilliant place for enjoying the great outdoors.

Ringmore is a small village in Devon, in the South Devon aonb, one mile from the secluded beach and stunning cliffs of Bigbury Bay. The Saxon church of All Hallows stands majestically overlooking this quintessentially English village with thatched cottages and a peaceful rural pace of life.

The welcome pack was a lovely surprise too. The only thing I would say is the cupboards had an odd smell to them, I’m not sure what it was but it made the cups and plates smell. It wasn’t a huge deal and that was literally the only thing, we just washed them before using. Would 100% stay here again.

The owner is friendly and lives close by, nice touch with the welcome pack, most enjoyable. Thank You
