Seymour Heights is everything you could want in a Devon beach holiday home. Light timber floors, huge picture windows with sweeping views over Woolacombe Bay, superb self-catering facilities, and space for six people in three bedrooms make this a fantastic property for families, including multi-generational ones. The house is dog-friendly and has off-street parking, making it even more appealing for your family holiday in Woolacombe. You're just under a mile from Woolacombe village and beach, close to Exmoor, and a short drive from favourite North Devon sights and attractions.
Seymour Heights is a family holiday home in Devon overlooking the golden curve of Woolacombe's sandy beach. The self-catering holiday cottage is on the edge of the village, just over half a mile from restaurants, cafes, shops, and pubs like the nautical-sounding Captain Jacks. It sleeps six people, is dog friendly, and is perfect for a relaxing coastal holiday any time of the year. There is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The layout is ideal if you're two families on holiday together or you're with grandparents who prefer the peace and lack of stairs on the ground floor.
Woolacombe is a glittering jewel in the golden crown of the North Devon coast. It stretches for three glorious miles between Baggy Point and Morte Point and regularly features in the "best beaches" lists. Those qualities are enough to tempt anyone to set up their sunlounger, but, if you need more convincing, then maybe you'll be swayed by the spectacular sunsets, swimmer-friendly waves, and the South West Coast Path. Book a surfing lesson or a horseback beach ride, take a trip to Lundy Island, or sit on the headland with your binoculars and watch swooping seabirds and frolicking dolphins.
It isn't just the perfection of Woolacombe that makes Seymour Heights so good. It's everything that is around it. Exmoor Park is on the doorstep with mountain bike trails, pony treks, and hill climbing. Walk through the woods at Comesgate Valley, breathing in the heady fragrance of bluebells or wild garlic, depending on the season. Shop for local produce at delis and farmers' markets and cook it at home to eat after a busy day of fun, or keep the kitchen clean by dining at a different cafe or restaurant every day. Places to visit include Ilfracombe, Watermouth Castle, National Trust Arlington Court, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Clovelly, Lynton and Lynmouth.
