Holiday with family and friends at this light-filled apartment in Woolacombe, a charming coastal village with a 3-mile-long sandy beach (400 metres). Spend your days playing games on the sand, or joining the South West Coast Path (300 metres) for satisfying cliff-top walks where you may spot seals frolicking on the rocks below. In the evenings, you can cook in your modern dwelling or dine out at one of Woolacombe’s many fantastic eateries (within 400 metres).
The two-bed home is located on the second floor, and has a stylish, contemporary décor. A number of decorative touches, such as patterned cushions and holiday-themed artwork, create a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. When you’ve been out in the fresh air all day, relax on the comfy sofas and pop on a film to enjoy with fellow guests (and your dog dozing at your feet). Evening meals are easily prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. When night falls, choose from a king room with an en-suite shower room, or a second lovely bedroom with a king zip-and-link bed, which can be made into a twin set upon request when booking. A stylish family bathroom completes the interior of this property. In warm weather, open up the patio doors from the living room and allow the sea breezes to flood in.
You’ll have independent shops, cafés and friendly pubs in the streets surrounding the apartment (400 metres), so it’s easy to find everything you need during your stay. Locally, the dramatic National Trust site at Baggy Point is well worth a visit (6 miles) – crashing waves and dramatic cliffs make this a must see. You can walk there along the coast path and pop into the tearoom for a cuppa on arrival. Other options for day trips are Croyde (4.5 miles), the iconic surfing village, and Ilfracombe (5 miles), a traditional harbour town where you can board a boat to Lundy Island.
