Relax on the small, raised terrace to the front or enjoy dining alfresco in the fully enclosed courtyard to the side. With just a short stroll to the esplanade and 3 miles of glorious sandy beach (which incorporates Putsborough Beach too), this holiday cottage is a great choice for all age groups. You could stay here for a month and not run out of things to do, such is the excitement that surrounds this popular seaside resort. Why not start off with a beautiful coastal walk to Morte Point? This lovely section of the South West Coast Path might reward you with sightings of sea lions if you are lucky. Barricane Beach is at the north end of Woolacombe and there, a cafe serves delicious Sri Lankan curries on the beach that you can savour as the sun goes down. Get your surf on at either Woolacombe or Croyde; both beaches are part of the North Devon World Surfing Reserve and offer up some of the best waves in the UK. Long-established surf schools at both beaches can help those who are just starting out.
