We have stayed many times. The view is the best of the harbour even if it’s raining.

The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful, and dealt with all of our questions promptly. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ilfracombe. The only potential issue was the lack of dedicated parking, but there are plenty of local car parks and a 7 day permit was not too expensive and covered a number of other areas in North Devon too, so it didn’t prove to be a problem in the end. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Debs, the owner and host, was so welcoming that I felt we had been friends for years. There were tulips and wine set on the table as we entered the spacious lounge, which was a much appreciated gesture. The whole apartment was light, spotlessly clean and well kitted out with all you would need for a comfortable stay. The view from the bay windows was spectacular and ever-changing, whatever time of day or night, as we sat gazing out at the harbour and beyond. Out to the back, the patio was a sun trap and offered the perfect spot to enjoy afternoon tea or a glass of wine. The Admiral's House is just a 5 minute walk to the harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs. The dogs in particular enjoyed their daily run on the beach. Even though we only live 8 miles away, we will definitely be returning to Exmooŕ apartment and highly recommend it to you.
