The kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests will need during their stay to cook themselves a delicious meal after a day enjoying the local attractions. The property has a rustic charm with exposed beams throughout. Upstairs, the property sleeps four guests comfortably in two light filled bedrooms, a twin and a master double boasting views over the surrounding farmland. Down the hall is a modern family bathroom with a bath and shower over. Outside is a lovely enclosed patio area with furniture and a generous garden, perfect for children to let off some extra holiday energy. Just a short drive away is the village of Clovelly. The nearest beach is within driving distance and there are plenty of nearby attractions to enjoy. The town of Bideford is also within 25 minutes drive of the cottage, here guests will find all the amenities they will need during their stay. Cedar Cottage is a superb holiday base for a family of four or a group of adults wishing to explore North Devon at any time of the year. The Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Society used this local area for filming the movie.

Bideford is an historic maritime town on the River Torridge in North Devon. It is a thriving town with a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, a park and the Atlantic Village Outlet Shopping Centre located on the outskirts of the town. Bideford is in a fantastic location to explore the surrounding area. It is just a few miles from Westward Ho!, which is dominated by two miles of spectacular coastline and retains the prestigious Blue Flag award year upon year. Its sandy beach, attracts visitors from all over the country and offers fantastic bathing and watersport activities. Just beyond the pebble ridge is Northam Burrows Country Park, which lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has 253 hectares of grassy coastal plain with salt marsh, sand dunes and grasslands. The South West Coastal Path and the famous traffic-free Tarka Trail are close by, providing magnificent walking and cycling opportunities. The delightful quayside village of Appledore and the pretty beach at Instow are both just over three miles away, whilst the market town of Barnstaple is just ten miles away, and the fishing village of Clovelly, with its quaint cobbled streets, is eleven miles away. The North Devon coast also boasts outstanding beaches, many within easy reach, including those found at Instow, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Woolacombe and Bude. This is an area of breathtaking beauty, with plenty to see and do for all ages.
