Combe Martin is located at the confluence of Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In addition to its very popular beach, this small seaside resort also features its very own Dinosaur Park, which is a major draw for both locals and tourists. The town of Combe Martin hosts the annual Earl of Rone festival in May and a carnival every August. The nearby attractions of Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple make this an excellent home base for exploring all that North Devon has to offer. Several gardens and houses owned by the National Trust are also open to the public. Woolacombe has some of the best surfing in the region, and the South West Coast Path passes by within a mile. With so many exciting activities, Combe Martin is the perfect home base for a fun-filled family holiday at the beach.
