Snaptrip says

Guests have found 5 Forest Park Lodge to be a lovely, clean, and comfortable retreat, perfect for both couples and small groups. The property is praised for its peaceful environment and beautiful natural surroundings, though it is noted to be a bit far from town centres and services. The lodge is well-equipped and offers a serene getaway with pretty views.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean, with guests expressing satisfaction with the level of cleanliness. One minor issue mentioned is cigarette ends found outside, but this does not seem to detract significantly from the overall cleanliness.

The lodge is appreciated for its stunning, nature-surrounded location, offering a great base for walks. However, its distance from town centres and shops has been noted as a slight inconvenience, affecting the convenience aspect of its location.

Comfort is highlighted as a strong point, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the lodge cosy. The only detractor is the mention of creaky floorboards, which could disturb sleep when using the bathroom at night.

Facilities are generally good, with the property being well-equipped. Criticisms include the lack of blinds in bathrooms, an issue with starting the oven, and suggestions for better garden maintenance. These points suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.
