The location was great but overall the cottage was a bit grubby. Floors under beds really dirty. Towels smelt, bedding was clean though. Attention to detail poor. Clock on wall not working. Only 3 decent sized mugs for 4 adults!? Sofa/chairs very uncomfortable. Walls scuffed. Think it needs deep cl.... The location was great but overall the cottage was a bit grubby. My daughter and I (and our little Border Terrier, Molly) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kittiwake. It was located in a perfect position to explore the coast - and great to have amazing cafes, takeaways and some lovely shops a walk away… The cottage was exceptionally comfortable and cosy, beautiful.... Comfortable Cottage, very peaceful, some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing, (wall clock, battery dead) interior walls need painting, but overall tastefully refurbished probably tired after a busy season?
