Crawford cottage is a charming 1 bedroom rural retreat situated in the peaceful hamlet of Heddon Mill. The perfect all-year round holiday cottage for couples with a woodburning stove for cooler months and a sunny patio for spring and summer. Located just two miles from the bustling village of Braunton, enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside while being only 5 minutes from an excellent choice of pubs, shops and restaurants. The nearest village shop is at Knowle, about 1 mile, which also has a lovely pub serving homemade meals. Crawford cottage is within a short distance of the spectacular beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Saunton and Woolacombe, and your dogs are welcome too! The coastal villages of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are also easily accessible, as is Exmoor, a great day out!
Living areas

A welcoming open plan living area with woodburning stove and double patio doors lead out onto a sunny patio with pergola and seating area. Also includes a kitchenette and dining area with a pine table and two benches seating 4 people. Relax in the evenings on the sofa and watch the flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and a selection of DVDs. WiFi internet access is included.

NB - One net of logs is supplied for the woodburner, more can be added to your booking basket.
Kitchen

Open plan kitchenette in the living area. Appliances include a fridge, mini oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster, as well as cupboard space and a good selection of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. There is also use of a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility area down outside the steps.
Bedroom

The double bedroom includes two bedside tables, an antique pine wardrobe, cheval mirror and a unique antique storage trunk.
Bathroom

En-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle, washbasin, WC, shelves and mirror. Bath towels are included.
Outdoors

Enjoy use of a lovely private patio area with outdoor furniture, lower beds and a rose-covered pergola. There is a sloping grassed area and trees above the patio. This area is self-contained and raised resulting in lovely country views. A charcoal BBQ is supplied (initial supply of coal included in summer months), perfect for a warm summer evening. The cottage has parking space for 1 car, with it's own parking area next to the main cottage, just a few steps away from main door.
